- good team effort

Camp Hill 8 KC 31
This was a good performance although it took the KC team time to settle. Many of the early exchanges were in the KC half with KC defence being its’ usual dependable self. Good work by the forwards both in the loose and set-piece allowed to KC began to gain possession. The first score came from KC; when a series of good moves fed Ryan Tiene who, with a trade mark run of 40 metres, scored a try; converted by Tom Dalton.
Camp Hill came back taking advantage of a charged down KC kick and with a quick pass to their left wing scored an unconverted try in the corner. The remainder of the first half was fairly even without either side going close, half-time came with KC leading 7 - 5.
Soon after the start of the second half KC scored when a good three-quarter move was finished with a George Tildesley pass to Ryan Tiene for him to score an unconverted try. Camp Hill were still driving hard and for their efforts received a penalty in front of the KC posts and successfully kicked it to stay in touch at 8 - 12
KC had a great move up to the Camp Hill line and with successive forward drives came very close. Then after what was probably the sixth phase Jack Evans darted in to wrestle a short ball and score the try. Tom Dalton made the conversion. Tackling from all the team was good, particularly Tom Dalton, Harvey Kelsall, Jack Barrett and Hakeem Hussain. Camp Hill were still exerting pressure; however the defence was remaining secure. Respite for KC came when George Lloyd Jones seized the ball just outside the KC 22 and cutting through outpaced the Camp Hill defence to score under the posts and secure a bonus point. Tom Dalton converting. At this point Camp Hill lost their earlier energy and were powerless when their backs dropped the ball inside the KC half. Tom Dalton kicked through and realising he had a clear 55 metres in front of him skilfully dribbled through and made the touch down. Man of the match Ethan Keenan played well at number 8 securing possession and starting several attacks.
KC must be proud of their performance in this game as the longer it went on the more dominant they became; this was based on a return to the dependable defence of earlier in the season. The result was KC 31 Camp Hill 8.
