Today it was under 13's against the Birmingham and Solihull. The game started off with a try for Birmingham and Solihull from a little grubber through and continuous fly-hacking of the ball until it went over the try line and they scored. The kicker missed the conversion.

Straight away though, Kidderminster pounced back with a try of their own through Mason who ran around the defender and blitzed the opposition fullback. AJ converted the try. 7-5.

After 10 minutes of intense rucking and mauling Birmingham and Solihull made a break on the wing and scored a try. The kick was not converted.10-7.

After about 5minutes in neutral ground Mason did what he does best by out running the opposition and scoring under the posts to make it an easy conversion for AJ.14-10.

It was then half-time and coach Andy said everything was good except for the tackling. Tackling had been our weak spot in our game against DK which we lost.

The second half started very much like the first one with a early try from Birmingham and Solihull and the conversion being missed from there fly-half.15-14.

Soon though Kidderminster were upon Birmingham and Solihull's try line where AJ got the ball and did a great dummy to fool the defences and went and scored under the posts for an easy conversion for himself.21-15.

From then on Kidderminster had all of the possession, for about 10 minutes we were in Birmingham and Solihull's 22. Then Anthony made a great break from a maul and scored a try. AJ converted the kick very well.28-15.

Finally praise to the forwards who did great scrummaging, great rucking and mauling and all-round good play. But most of all praise to the whole team who did a great job in beating opponents we have never beaten before final score 28-15.
